French architect Marc Barani, has chosen our Barrisol Lumière Acoustique® solution for the Palace of Justice in Aix-en-Provence.

This installation of 800 sqm of double Barrisol® Polaris sheet, utilizes natural light, an ecological alternative to LEDs, which allows for the entry of pleasant filtered light into the building, symbolizing the openness and transparency of the institution.

Our innovative solution, Lumière Acoustique®, integrates our patented micro-perforation system which not only diffuses light evenly but also ensures sound absorption (awarded a prestigious golden decibel), significantly improving acoustic comfort, achieving an absorption coefficient of up to αw 0.8. In a courtroom, where every word counts, this acoustic clarity is essential. For projects requiring more sound comfort, our other acoustic solutions can achieve an αw of 1.0.
