"A luminaire defines space through its presence, its shape, its light. I like the idea that a luminaire can be an evocation, a suggestion, rather than a realistic representation. I imagined a luminaire that evokes movement, the beating of wings, a light, airy bird.

A pure, supple animal form that lets the light glide beneath its wings. The luminaire is available in several sizes, the light is dimmable and the wings adjustable. The central body diffuses a functional light. The wings provide ambient lighting.
